Why auto repair shops in Smithtown miss calls

Smithtown's independent shops are spread along Jericho Turnpike, Main Street (25A), and Smithtown Boulevard toward Nesconset. A lot of them are family shops that have been around for decades, with posted hours that end at 4 or 5 PM and no Saturday hours. Commuters coming home on Route 347 or the LIRR Port Jefferson branch often can't call until after you've locked up.

How it works for your shop

You keep your number. Calls you don't pick up forward to your AI receptionist.
It answers, gets the details, and reads them back to confirm.
You get an email right away, and urgent calls are flagged first.

It never quotes prices you haven't approved, books appointments, or diagnoses problems. It takes a clean message so you can call back.

Question from Smithtown shop owners

We already have a regular customer base. Why bother?

Regulars leave voicemails. New customers usually don't. When someone new moves to Smithtown or Commack and searches for a mechanic, the first shop to answer tends to get the job.
